Facing the treasures of the Amazonia, it becomes necessary to compromise with their natural diversity in or der to preserve the richness of its environment. In response to this, a social responsible institution arises f or the Brazilian community and the world heritage.
The Manaquiri Research and Sustainable Development Institute (MRSDI), was founded in the heart of the Amazon Jungle, in Brazil.
It began operations on October 2nd, 2012, developing projects related to the extraction of the region´s natural resources. By this means, there are education, job creation and income generation. Those activities help to ensure the survival of those that are affected, the application of modern technologies, as well as the elimination of waste and predatory practices to the environment.
Among the main commitments of the Manaquiri Institute, it is remarkable the protection, preservation and conservation of the environment, promoted by sustainable development. Several studies, research and technological development are being performed to generate production alternatives as well as the dissemination of information.
